Omni-directional 45–65 keV electron intensities expected at 1 AU under two interplanetary transport scenarios assuming that λ_r = 0.37AU (red) and λ_r = 0.10AU (blue). The release of particles was assumed to occur at t = 0 for 10³⁰ electrons in both cases. The particle event starts later and peaks at lower intensities for small values of the mean free path (more turbulent interplanetary transport conditions).
