Annual variations of radionuclide 10Be flux by Berggren et al. (2009) (magenta curve) and modelled here (blue curve). Although the two curves show a very good agreement after 1900, they vary from each other significantly before that period. This is likely due to atmospheric distribution and deposition processes that affect the stored amount of the radionuclide in ice.
