Particle spectra for zenith angles smaller than 30° on the Martian surface measured between 19 August 2012 and 17 February 2013 by MSL-RAD (black, Ehresmann et al. 2014) and calculated for the same period by different simulation tools: GEANT4 (red), PHITS (blue), OLTARIS2013 (green), HZETRN/OLTARIS (ocher). Different nuclei are grouped together and scaled by the factors given in parentheses.
