UMASEP prediction web page for 2012 July 07: (a) and (b) show the SEP prediction using soft X-rays and microwaves, respectively. The success of the prediction using soft X-rays is due to the poorly-connected prediction scheme. The well-connected prediction scheme failed to forecast the SEP event.
