The feature observed in the dynamic spectrum of Cygnus A by one of the stations in The Netherlands (station CS001: 52.9°N, 6.9°E), alongside the modelled replica (note that different colour scales are used in each panel). As in Figure 4, the time scale of both panels is the same, with t = 0 corresponding to the minimum of electron density (i.e. the maximum of phase change) lying on the line of sight. The parameters used here are: Φ0 = 8 × 108 rad Hz, Λ = 25 km, θ = 8.8° and α = 7.58 × 104 rad Hz m−1.
