Grid configuration for the ray tracing simulation. The orientation of the grid’s axes is indicated by +X, +Y, and +Z along the edges of the box. The grid’s origin coincides with the satellite center of mass. The red line indicates a ray emitted from one of the grid cells on the +X side of the simulation box. The yellow patch indicates the cell area that is associated with the ray. The angles α and β describe the satellite’s orientation to the radiation source.
