Scatter plots of the GOES RO-based foF2 and hmF2 values against the corresponding ionosonde-derived ones with and histograms of the F2 peak parameters residuals ΔfoF2 (ΔfoF2 = foF2_{GOES_RO} – foF2_ionosonde) and ΔhmF2 (ΔhmF2 = hmF2_{GOES_RO} – hmF2_ionosonde) for (a–c) GOES-16 and (e–h) GOES-17 satellites. Each scatter plot contains information about correlation index R and total number of colocations, each histogram plot – information about the mean, standard deviation, and RMS error.
