For KPVT and SOLIS (top), Wilcox (middle), and GONG (bottom) data the signed sum of all (black solid curves), odd-order (blue dotted curves), and even-order (red dashed curves) axial strengths are plotted against time as shown in Figure 11 but normalized by the combined axisymmetric multipole strength, i.e. the pythagorean sum of the individual axial multipole strengths.
