GOES-16 EUVS-C signal rate in the masked pixels (0–59) for the average of 1000 standard 2.934 s integrations on February 14, 2017. Counts in pixels 11–59 arise from sunlight multiply reflected between the front surface of the detector and the surfaces of its window in a “walk” pattern. The dashed line is the mean of the first 10 pixels (1.30 DN/s).
