K_p⁡max and K_p⁡min prediction error plotted against the CME input speed, at times showing large errors given the range of the index from 0 to 9. There is a general overprediction of K_p⁡max for CME input speeds above ≈1000 km s⁻¹, whereas the K_p⁡min forecast tends underpredict below ≈1000 km s⁻¹.
