Comparison between simulated results and in-situ data during year 2008. From the first to the third rows, comparisons are made for STB, L1 and STA respectively. The simulated results are represented by black scatters while the observed data are represented by colour scatters. Observed and simulated stream interfaces (SIs) are marked by squares and circles respectively. The heliolatitude and heliolongitude of STB (green scatters), L1 (blue scatters) and STA (red scatters) are plotted in the fourth and fifth row. The start time of each Carrington rotation (CR) is marked at the top of the figure.
