The onboard processing flow required to process images before transmission to the ground, where P represents a pixel within an image. Pi,j represents data acquired from a pixel on the detector located at position i, j. The red arrow indicates the operational flow. The black arrows indicate additional inputs to each section of the on-board software. HG indicates a pixel from the high gain channel. LG indicates a pixel from the low gain channel. G indicates a pixel in a combined HG, LG image. GC indicates the gain channel, e.g. 1 for high gain and 0 for low gain.
