Visual comparison between the ENLIL forecast of the plasma conditions on the ecliptic plane of January 16, 2018 (on the left) and the simulation made with RIMAP starting from data acquired at 1 AU (on the right). Notice that the ENLIL domain extends nearly up to 2.0 AU, while the RIMAP one extends to 1.1 AU (≃236.5 R⊙).
